A: A waste of time to watch so
much T.V.
B: Do you think so?
A: Yeah! I think most T.V. shows
are so silly.
B: Well, maybe, but some of them
are good.
A: Yeah? Like what?
B: Like police shows, westerns,
dramas, old movies. When I grew up in Brazil, we watched a lot
of American T.V. shows.
A: Really? You watched a lot of
American T.V. in Brazil?
B: Yap! These American T.V. shows
go all over the world
A: Maybe that's why you're so
American.
B: Could be.
A: You know, I think American T.V.
has a strong influence on other cultures. When people see stuff
on T.V., they just want to be like Americans. Have an American
car, live in an American house, wear American clothes.
B: I don't know. I don't take it
so seriously. T.V. is just entertainment.
A: Hm. I don't know, Nick. I still
think some of these shows are just stupid.
B: But, watching T.V. is fun.
